Unlike NSF Fastlane, Grants.gov does not convert your document to PDF. The
researcher must convert to PDF format before uploading the
document. Proposals have been rejected by agencies due
to wrong document format, such as a Word document
being uploaded instead of a PDF document. Most
sponsors now require ALL FILES to be in PDF format.
